We love podcasts almost as much as you do! They can make us laugh, make us cry and, most importantly, remind us we aren’t the only ones living through crazy experiences. We know the podcast world is a big one, and it is always great to get some new recommendations! Here are the 5 best podcasts for moms. A few of our favs, in no particular order.
1. Moms Unscripted:
Our very own podcast, birthed in 2021. Join us for #nofilter parenting talk, hosted by MOPS President and CEO, Mandy Arioto, and a support squad of powerhouse parents. You don’t need another curated influencer in your media feed making you feel isolated and off pace. If you’re struggling to keep your head above water, listening to these friends talk about how they’ve navigated the same days will be the lifesaver you need to stay afloat. From postpartum bodies to a shifting personal identity, no topic is off limits for their candid conversations. They’ll hash it out and help you stay grounded in grace at every stage. So come on in, the water’s warm.
2. Unspoken Stories:
A podcast by the March of Dimes. It is also a newer podcast but has incredible depth. Here is the description: “Honest stories of pregnancy, parenthood and loss are too often left unshared. We are here to tell the real stories.”
3. God Hears Her:
Join Elisa Morgan and Eryn Eddy as they offer stories of hope and encouragement and insights into the power of relationships and stories. As they tell it, “This podcast is for women who are in the trenches of the beautiful and messy moments of relationships, work, ministry, and more.”
4. That Sounds Fun:
If you haven’t heard of this podcast yet, it’s time you tune in. Annie’s show tagline says it all, “If it sounds fun, you’ll know about it.”
5. The Purpose Show:
Allie describes her podcast best with these two lines: “Mom life doesn’t have to be about the tired life, the countdown to bed time life, or the joyless life. Join me in conversations about simplicity, minimalism, and lots of other good stuff that leads to a life of less for the sake of enjoying more.”
